"This was the most scenic and beautiful hotel we stayed in our entire Peru trip. We could see the mountains from our balcony. Secluded hotel. Perfect for a quiet getaway. We stayed here for one night. The room was huge and beds very comfortable. The breakfast had a wide variety and the staff helped us get some vegetarian options from the kitchen made for us. The restaurant and cafe onsite had good options. Some things to note which doesn’t take away any stars from the review but good to be aware of. There is no other entertainment on the property to keep kid busy. The wood flooring was creaking a lot in our room. Maybe needs some attention. Overall we loved our stay here and it was a wonderful property. "

"I cannot say enough about this wonderful five star resort. It’s a beautiful retreat to get away from the hustle and bustle of Lima city. The staff went above and beyond! "

"It was a beautiful place, lovely to relax in, service was excellent, love the gardeners, love the llamas (or alpacas - unclear), lovely jacuzzi. Could fit twelve people or six alpacas in the jacuzzi and still have room to do laps. Unfort we were incredibly incapable of temperature regulation (possibly our fault). The dome became a whole greenhouse during the day and outside was somehow too cold unless you were in the jacuzzi. Also the drinking water situation was a challenge - BYOW. "

"Lovely hotel, really enjoyed the quiet, calm setting at the foot of a steep mountain, with the sound of a stream rushing by and wonderful gardening including tons of flowers. Adding to the peace and quiet, the rooms are in separated cottages, with fireplaces, big comfy beds, good linens, and outdoor seating. Very tasteful, this is a family owned hotel where the details have been chosen with care, and it shows. Lorena, Julio and the rest of the staff was incredibly helpful, lit fires for us, brought extra wood, heated the sauna, kept inquiring if everything was ok, set up transportion to and from Cusco. Really relaxing stay."

"This is the best among five different hotels at various locations (above 4-star-rated hotels) during a 16-day trip around Peru. My husband and I stayed two nights at Lizzy Wasi. The staff members were very helpful and friendly. We had a chance to talk with an owner "Lizzy" who is such a delightful lady, just like other staff members. I am so glad my husband found this hotel, and we had a chance to rest in this peaceful and beautiful place. I am grateful to all staff members and Lizzy for their dedication to our guests. "Amazing hotel! From check-in to check-out, entire experience was above expectations. Property was beautiful, suite with private patio with lawn was surrounded by flowering bushes. Restaurant was great, excursion was fun, sitting by the river was romantic. "
