Chalk Sound Drive hotel rooms a the Independent

"Comparatively affordable, peaceful and comfortable smaller resort on Grace Bay Beach. Mature gardens, nice pool areas, restaurant and bar (happy hour was great), all rooms have washer and dryer. We had a king studio in building 8 (farthest from beach) which was just fine for us. Staff was courteous and were happy to help. Walkable to restaurants and downtown Grace Bay Area (15-30 min) which was great- we didn’t want to drive. We walked both ways on the beach to other restaurants etc. this resort was about as far east as we’d recommend to remain in the central area."

"Beautiful and quiet beach. The food and drinks were excellent and delicious. We took advantage of the free shuttle to the sister hotel that was closer to shopping and other restaurants. Note that all taxis are cash only. It's $20 from the airport for each person. Our room was great; we had a few minor electrical problems, but we adjusted. "

"We stayed in a one bedroom suite and were amazed by the beautiful configuration of the room, its size, and breathtaking water views. From check-in to checkout the service/staff was wonderful. What a wonderful find! The snorkeling around the reef was amazing and the beach itself was just perfect. Every amenity that we could have wanted was available. The Resort itself was also more magnificent than we had expected. Our stay was a ten (10) and we will definitely be returning!!"
