Having a kitchen allowed me to stay in if I wanted, but the apartment was also close to bars and restaurants. There is a close-by bar that plays loud music, but not super late, and I actually liked hearing the local music. The people I met were so friendly! And really, the host was very accommodating and responded to questions...

"Our stay at southern palms resort was nothing short of amazing! The resort is beautiful with big pools and is located right at the beach front. Our room was big and spacious always kept neat by our lovely housekeeper Veronica. The staff at the hotel are such lovely genuine people. Everyone made us feel right at home, starting from the manager daisy who even gave us her personal contact to call her if we needed anything at any time. Elisha the bartender at the beach bar kept our drinks flowing and made sure to have conversation with each person sitting at the bar. The food was fantastic. I must recommend the bbq restaurant which had a wide selection for us meat lovers.

"I had a fantastic stay at Baobab Beach Resort & Spa. The location on Diani Beach is stunning, with white sand and clear water. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the all-inclusive food and drinks were excellent. The pools were clean, the rooms comfortable, and the whole atmosphere was relaxing. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a great beach holiday in Kenya."
