A standout feature was the Alexa integration, which controlled everything from lights to curtains to music - a really seamless, modern touch. - The amenities were fantastic: both a hot and dry sauna, plus a small private pool just outside our room that could be heated like a jacuzzi. - Breakfast was a highlight each day - you select your preferences the night before, and every option we tried was delicious. What truly makes La Maria special, though, is the staff. Every interaction was warm, attentive, and personalized. From check-in to organizing massages, recommending wineries and restaurants, and even arranging a private driver for our Uco Valley visit - they made everything effortless. It genuinely felt like no request was too much. Overall, this was an incredibly relaxing and memorable stay. "The staff was great. I bought a case of wines. They packed them for me to get them ready for check-in at the airlines. They also provide me with ice on my request. That rooms are spacious and new. Having said that, I thought there are some shortcomings to the design of the room. Little details like there were no towel racks near shower, and the main lights were only controlled by inserting/removing the card key near the door. I also miss having small face towels to wipe my face, and there was no American tv channels. I know we are not in the U.S., but it’s an American hotel, so it would have been nice to have CNN to come home to in the evening."

"The outdoor pool offered a quiet oasis to relax, swim and breathe. The Staff is friendly, efficient and take pride in welcoming their guests. Dinners are delicious and our waiter felt like a sincere welcoming friend. The rooms are more like Hobbit homes. Each room is in a separate little house blended with the others in the same theme as the main lodge. Don’t miss visiting their own wine cellar which was hand made by the owners. "

"Overall this was a great hotel for the price. Although its on the older side everything is clean and functional. Breakfast was a bonus with a good variety that included bacon and eggs, fruit and pastries and meat and cheeses. The staff were all super helpful and friendly. Plus the location is close to all the main sites, restaurants and tours in the City. I would stay again. "
