"Die Unterkunft ist neu und sehr gut ausgestattet Die Lage ist toll. Alles sehr gepflegt und ansprechend. Was uns aber richtig geärgert hat war, am Tag der Abreise haben wir verschlafen und sind 20 Minuten später angerufen worden das wir die nächste halbe Stunde auschecken sollen. Das haben wir auch gemacht aber die Unterkunft hat einen Teil der Kaution einbehalten weil wir ein wenig zu spät dran waren. Da wir dann sowieso mehr bezahlt haben hätten wir es gut gefunden das wir dann auch wenigsten...

"Such a great concept for a hotel. On entry to the hotel it had a wonderful modern open feel and smelt lovely which was a good first impression. Check-in staff were great, very helpful and very friendly. Our room was immaculate exactly as it was on the website photos. We ate in the restaurant the food was great. It is really handy having the supermarket attached to the hotel. The big bonus was it's very easy walk to Efterling theme park a 5 mins walk. Over all our 4 day stay was a very enjoyable one and will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends."

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location even if you haven't got a car as the bus stop is just round the corner taking you into the centre and the station in around 15 minutes. Also good for cyclists as they have a locked store. Not many places to eat nearby however. Breakfast is fine. Beds are very comfortable and although rooms are quite small there's everything that you need for a short stay. Next door hotel is popular with commercial drivers so can be noisy early morning."

"Budget hotel currently undergoing a refurb as it desperately needs one! Check in is next door at the Campanile, and was dealt with efficiently. Rooms were clean but very, very tired. As workers were refurbing one floor the stairs and landings were dirty. Restaurant at the Campanile was good but closes early."

Van der Valk Hotel Gilze - Tilburg

"The facilities of the hotel are excellent. The only shame is the woodland cabins appear to be removing the kids playground. The reception staff at check in weren't very helpful, we had a tiring train journey and just needed a run around for the boys but they suggested outside of the hotel, they didn't realise they had a playground. Outside of the hotel, little Switzerland is lovely in the woods but there needed better pedestrian access from the hotel. The pool indoors is great, we had kids so couldn't g outside, but meant the indoors was great for the kids. The robot was a bit of a shame, we wanted to use for ice cream but if the phone is on mute you won't know it's there and we ended up with it an hour late, melted and no refund. Restaurant in the hotel - all the food is lovely, very tasty and something for most people."
