"The room was amazing and perfectly clean the bathroom was fit for a queen. You definitely felt like you were in a castle. You could even call yourself royalty. This was my daughter‘s idea to stay here and it was the best idea she ever had. Our bartender Jonathan was amazing as was the entire staff. I Would recommend to anyone. "Staying at hotel America was like staying in a Soviet era tower block in Moscow in the 1970s. My room was very cold and I had to request heating to be put on. Even with the extra (old and grubby) blanket I was cold all night. The room has probably not been updated since the building was constructed so the bright blue bathroom suite with missing plugs was like something from the 1970s. On the positive side, public areas are clean and up-to-date and the staff are pleasant. The amount charged by this hotel is probably influenced by the fact that there are few hotels in the area. This is not value for money and I would avoid staying here if at all possible."

Acomodates for tour buses too, accessible elevator, large free parking area. Large, meticulously clean dining room with full brkt buffet & omelet bar made to order."

"We clearly didn't read the small print because the advertised cafe, bar and restaurant were closed. There are no shops around, we had driven 8 hours and were hungry and thirsty so had to drive for miles to the nearest town for bread and cheese. The place was stiflingly hot, the air conditioning in the bedroom didn't work, the basin in the bathroom was blocked, the shower was so small one couldn't swing a proverbial cat. The beds were soft and uncomfortable. We could not wait to leave the next morning after our mostly sleepless night and move on to the next hotel."

"Oh my goodness this was an amazing night with lots of traditional food to taste and the staff and especially the owner was amazing. The room was fantastic and soo clean. We stumbled on this quaint hotel and would most definitely stay again if ever in this part of the world. "
