"Clean rooms with modern updates and great ahowee"

"The room, while small, was well-appointed and clean. The hotel is in a up-coming area. The hotel stands out at the moment. Some work needs to be done on the restaurant. In Bordeaux, one needs a reservation first, then show up to see what’s on the menu. Service was non-existent and menu was extremely limited. Other than a poor restaurant, the ‘56’ is well worth a traveler’s look."

"I have stayed here a few times before and it’s a great budget hotel in a great walkable location. I have always had a good experience here. This time I had a car and (especially for non-European drivers) the parking garage is really tight but it’s clean and easy to navigate."
