"A modest, clean and centrally located well run youth hostel. The plaza just in front seems to attract some weird people. Do not mind this, they are doing their thing and din’t bother anyone. Very close to tons of shops and restaurants. Beds were confortable, temperature was fine. It may be a bit difficult for some folks to get into the top bunks. Lobby area was welcoming and comfortable. Showers were ok, good warm water with decent pressure. I would recommend for a solo trip b"

"I rarely write a review but I think this hotel experience categorically does not deserve a rating of over 8, given that our room: - was next to a public alleyway, meaning the curtains had to be closed the whole time, allowing for no natural light - had no door between the bedroom and toilet, with a short distance between the two, absolutely zero privacy I imagine we were given one of the worst rooms in the hotel, but regardless this is completely subpar quality for the experience expected!"

"Great location if you want to be close to the train. A bit of a yucky walk with not much else around. Was excited for a roof top bar/restaurant, they only serve 3 course meals, no options for bar snacks or lighter meals which was disappointing. Rooms are beautiful, just very noisy! Especially my third night when I had to change rooms as it was an additional booking, was under the kitchen and they banged around until after 11 and were back at 530, so impossible to sleep. Absolutely do not use the laundromat near the train station, very scary and unsafe. "

"Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel. Pros: Great location near shopping/old town. Hotel staff very attentive. Rooms clean and well maintained. Cons: Repairs/scaffolding underway create noise and visual impairment out windows. Pigeons (birds) are in the walls/ceilings of several rooms... they have penetrated through the roof or air vents (noise). Bathroom shower stall very small and shower floor dangerously slippery. Neutral: Breakfast buffet good at fair price, but scrambled eggs are really a mix of eggs and milk (horrible taste)."
