"Beautifully kept huge house in a residential neighborhood turned into a family owned hotel. Very friendly owners. Pool, comfortable room and bed. No public trans so need a car. Convenient parking right outside on the street. The only negative part; no food or snacks offered at the hotel…quiet and tranquil. About a 20 min ride to Milan."

"The property is in a great location. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the area is clean and quiet.
It would be even better if sandals and toothpaste were available for guests."

"Sadly I had a very bad experience at this hotel and do not believe it should be on Hotels.com.
It really isn’t a hotel - more like a spare room in someone’s house.
The temperature outside was 37 degrees (and didn’t drop below 27 degrees all night), but the A/C in the room was broken and all there was to try to keep you cooler was a very old fan. You couldn’t open the door to the terrace without moving the bed.
(I was offered an alternative room in the attic - with working A/C but it was a...

"Hotel Cavour was in a great location. It was a short walk to Brera, an historic district of Milan, where there’s lovely small cobblestone streets with cafes, bars and restaurants. It felt very safe walking around the area at night. It was a short walk to the Duomo as well.
When we checked in, the man working at the front desk was very helpful with directions and suggestions of where to go for dinner. We were only in Milan for 2 nights so it was great that we could walk to everything."
"The staff were not very helpful
With our room. We booked a last minute additional night and they wanted us to pay an extra$50 to stay in one room and I repeatedly asked which room
Was the nicer one and they told us the first room was bigger and we had to pay $50 additional to stay in it meanwhile the room we booked for the second night was the upgrade which we moved into gladly without the fee .
We had trouble making a dinner reservation as no one answered us until the following day and the panoramic bar was not open when we thought it would have been."

10/10 Excellent
"Excellent 4-star hotel in a fantastic location near Porta Garibaldi and Porta Nuova. We truly enjoyed our stay at Milano Verticale.
We traveled with our 8-year-old daughter, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly with her from the moment we arrived. During check-in, the lovely lady who assisted us surprised our daughter with a box of chocolates, which was such a thoughtful and memorable gesture. It immediately made us feel very welcome.
The location is also excellent. Corso Como is just a few minutes away on foot, and Eataly is within easy walking distance as well, along with many restaurants, shops, and cafés. The hotel was also very helpful in arranging taxis for us, including transportation to the airport.
The hotel itself is modern, comfortable, and very well located, but what really stood out to us was the warm and attentive service. We would definitely stay at Milano Verticale again on our next visit to Milan. Highly recommended, especially for families!"
"This hotel is conveniently located. Staff is very helpful. The breakfast is excellent but what makes it even better is personal attention given to each guest. That’s amazing. Excellent food and excellent team work by very dedicated staff. All the best."
"We had a great stay overall. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable, and the location was perfect for getting around and exploring everything nearby. The hotel is a great place to stay if you mainly need a clean and comfortable room to sleep in.
That said, the hotel doesn’t offer much beyond the basics. There was no microwave in the room, and the toiletries were very basic with no conditioner provided.
The breakfast was good, fresh, and had a nice selection.
The rooftop bar, however, was a bit overpriced and overrated in my opinion. Access is somewhat limited unless you’re willing to purchase a drink, which seemed to be around $10–$20. I expected a little more given the reputation of the rooftop.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying again, especially because of the clean rooms and excellent location."
"Traditional and personal, I felt the staff were wonderful. It has an art deco/retro vibe in a perfect location near train, subway, grocery, and laundry. If I could change one thing, it would be to have a larger shower. The door opening is a typical European size, roughly a 12” - 13” opening. Tapas available every evening was a great touch."
