"La Mezzaluna is a short walk from Barga Gallicano train station, and buses to Lucca. Rita is amazingly hospitable & welcoming, and did so much to make our stay enjoyable. Rooms are very nice, buffet breakfast set us up for the day. There is a bus up to Barga during the day, and a taxi back in evening.If you visit Barga, this is the place to stay. "

Posto dove poter trascorrere una piacevole vacanza nel relax ritrovando quiete e temperature freschissime . Di fronte alla struttura c'è l'hotel sempre gestito dagli stessi proprietari dove potersi appoggiare sia per la colazione che per il pranzo e la cena ma accanto ci sono altri 2 ristoranti con bar e tutto ciò di cui si ha bisogno. "As expected for the price. Everything worked: aircondition, breakfast, shower and so on. Good with close location to the beach. The bed seemed ok, but I prefer a bit more softer/cushioning bed. There were some roadworks being done in the street, so not easy to pass with a suitcase and would be impossible with a car. Nothing that the hotel can do with that."

"Per quanto riguarda il cibo a colazione c’è varietà ma poca attenzione per gli intolleranti o senza glutine .pranzo e cena non è un gran che La struttura non ha aria condizionata. Ci sono cimici che entrano in camera e le trovi ovunque. La spiaggia ha un bar ma non offre colazioni o pranzi e gli orari di apertura e chiusura sono scomodi apre alle 9 e chiude alle 19. Non offrono divertimento , non c’è musica . Bagno non adatto a giovani "

"We had a great stay, was a little hesitant on arrival as we were driving away from the beach (as expected) and through what would be considered more industrial surroundings. Once past we arrived at the blissful Montepepe. A very peaceful boutique wine farm. Not sure how many can stay at hotel but at any given time there were about 4 or 5 tables at breakfast. The pool is great and relatively quiet as most go out for the day. Rooms were great, good aircon, lovely high ceilings. Didn't try the wine. We drove down to the beach and didn't have any issues with parking which made life easy. Like all good hotels one shouldn't need to deal with the hotel much which we didn't, the staff were very friendly and helpful at breakfast. Would certainly recommend."
