"Great hotel across the street from the beach. Everything is w/in walking distance. Beach was great Only drawback is the room is loud at nite. You can hear people yelling and laughing from the Main Street. Didn’t quiet down till 1 AM. Garbage truck came at 4:30 🙄 "

"Fabulous hotel - almost Belmond but not quite. Rooms are excellent (must comfortable beds with down pillows). Breakfast is superb. Pool service a bit sporadic but overall the staff were wonderful. "

"We were upgraded to a corner room with an oversized balcony looking out over the pool to the river. Spacious room, quiet, plenty of shelf and drawer space. The staff were amazing, Portuguese-friendly. Breakfast was very nice, with lots of hot and cold options including an omelet station. Location was very walkable to the Old Town, and also to the opposite side of the river and the Santa Clara monastery, plus walkways on both sides of the river."

"Excellent property and amenities. Front desk check in excellent. Spa services were outstanding and professional. Gym was great. Bar staff couldn’t say no if they tried and it really made the stay that much more enjoyable. Will be back for sure. "
