"Great place and great location"

"We did not end up staying at this hotel. I booked last minute as we needed a place to hang for the day between our hotel check out at 10am and our red eye flight at midnight, and there was a deal on Expedia. After booking, I read the reviews and got nervous. It was nearby so we decided to walk over and view prior to check in. The hotel was in really bad shape (at least, the first floor which is all we saw, maybe the upstairs/rooms were different). There was a strong odor of mold immediately upon entry, the floors were sticky, and there was visible dust covering everything on the walls. There was stuff piled everywhere, feeling very much like a hoard. There was a strange man changing in the hallway, maybe they were not expecting anyone to be walking around but it creeped me out. I feel bad leaving a review without having stayed there, but once we went in it was an immediate NO. We took the loss on the booking and paid again for a different hotel. We felt based on what we saw that we had to report in a review to alert other potential guests. I really hope the place gets cleaned up, it has a lot of potential, but we would not recommend based on the current state."

"My stay was ok, you get what you pay for. I wouldn’t recommend this hostel to a family or older adults. I had a couple of issues being the most noticeable the water shutdown during the day, I wasn’t able to do any personal hygiene during the whole morning. Also, don’t expect this space to be noise free, so if you are a light sleeper, this place is not for you."

"I arrived 12:30am the person at the front desk didn’t speak English he call someone who did he couldn’t find my booking I waited 15 mins finally I got in my room with no hot water at 5:00 am I got up to water flooding the living room they changed my room where I stayed till 11:00am they than told the problem couldn’t be fixed so I needed to move to another hotel …they paid the taxi to the new hotel ..which turned out to be a BLESSING they paid the taxi to take us to the new hotel .. they did all the communication to me to SUPERB 1BR WITH BALCONY IN LUXURIOUS BUILDING it was a great upgrade "

"The property was in a great location, however there were several things wrong. Upon entry to the property, your greeted with a very musty/moldy smell. The property is very hot which would normally be okay with me but this unit is on the first floor and the windows are not caged so I was uncomfortable leaving windows open for ventilation. I’m assuming this is what created the moldy smell. Everything in the unit was damp to the touch including the bed. This is not an ideal feeling when you want a good nights sleep. The internet continuously drops completely out. You would be lucky to get a full 5 minutes of uninterrupted internet, and because the location is on the bottom floor you get no cell signal either. I ended up finding black mold in the unit as well. I did bring all of these issues up to management and was only offered a 15% discount on my next stay. I was very unhappy about this location. "
