"Great Historic Hotel in Downtown Port Richey. Next to a canal and beautiful city park. Downtown is walkable with lots of neat shops and good restaurants. The hotel bar and breakfast were on point. Clean rooms with spacious bathrooms. There is Spanish Moss hanging off the Souther Oaks and the pink stucco building stands out amongst the lush surroundings. Tiny Anole lizards dot the pathways. Truly a slice of the Old Florida Gulf Coast. Just 30min from Weeki Wachi Springs and 30 min from Tarpon Springs. 1hr from Tampa and Clearwater. This was the perfect base for our 5 day adventure, Paddling with Manatees, Mermaid Shows, Dolphin Tours, and Busch Gardens has the best collection of coasters in the state."

"I had a great stay at this hotel! The property was very clean, well-organized, and the staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. One of my favorite features was the full kitchen in the room. Just keep in mind that you'll need to bring your own pots, pans, plates, and utensils if you plan on cooking. The only downsides were that there wasn't a complimentary breakfast or a swimming pool. Other than that, everything exceeded my expectations. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be staying here from now on whenever I'm visiting the area. Highly recommended!"

"Staff was super friendly and helpful! The location was great for the springs and kayaking. Rooms were clean and smelled fresh. The floors left the bottoms of our feet black with dirt, so those could use a little more attention. Overall would stay again."
