The Lodge at Eagle Crest Resort
6/10 Okay
"Limited dining options, store had a lot of expired items and was gratuitously overpriced. Niblicks hours are limited and they are closed on Sundays. Makes no sense? One option for breakfast outside the lobby that’s only open for a couple hours. Resort is perhaps an inaccurate description."

Riverhouse Lodge
6/10 Okay
"Stop the resort fee nonsense."

Juniper Preserve
10/10 Excellent
"We traveled here in June 2026 just myself and my son who is 12 and we had the most amazing time! The property is absolutely gorgeous and the amenities are amazing! We had so much fun in the pools and they have a cool rock waterslide for kids. The hot tub could fit 30 people and was the perfect temperature. They had an outdoor fire pit that you could sit at during the evenings and you could see all the stars they had live music come in to the bar area, which was really cool. The food at the trailhead grill was amazing and they smoke their meats in house. We had the brisket it was delicious with whiskey barbecue sauce ! We rented the bikes and rode the 5 mile trail around the property and it was beautiful and the price was very reasonable at $15 for the rental per bike And our most favorite memorable experience of this trip was the cave tour!!! I highly recommend it was a personal tour just for the two of us and Tracy was an amazing guide. We got to see a porcupine sleeping in the cave and she showed us the two swans that live on property , we picked herbs and made sage bundles and then we ended with a sound bath, which was a cool experience that we've never done before. We will be coming back to Juniper Preserve, everything about the trip was 10 out of 10 and the Lodge is absolutely gorgeous!"

Sunriver Resort
4/10 Poor
"What you don't know when booking with Expedia is the quality of the unit/room the resort will put you in. Because you don't book directly and through a second/third party you don't get what other guest receive when booking directly with the resort. They put us up in a "privately owned" room which was part of the "200" units. So the room or rooms will only be updated upon the owners responsibility. The room we stayed in smelled extremely bad, like a very old motel room. The carpet was so old, contributing to the smell. The handle on the bathroom faucet broke as soon as I turned on the water, the shower spout was broke so water was coming out all over. The fire place didn't work, so once the maintenance came to fix everything, though he couldn't work on the fireplace to get it fixed, by that night the room smelled like gas...so luckily my husband was able to turn off the gas to the fireplace. The TV was being pirated by someone so as we were watching a program it would all of sudden turn to Youtube, etc. we could see the name of the person and what they were watching. So we had to unplug everything and start over. This happened continually. We were so disappointed as this was the start of our 40th wedding anniversary trip. We have been to Sunriver probably over 15 times in our marriage and always loved it. The last time we stayed was at the resort, in a room by the river and the amenities in the room were amazing, NOT this time, not the same even in the room. SAD"
