"Our room at the Ridgeline Hotel was clean and the bed was okay — a little stiff and springy, but fine for a couple of nights. Unfortunately, the noise level was the biggest issue. We could hear everything: neighbors in their bathroom, people in the hallway, and even conversations outside. There didn’t seem to be any soundproofing at all, and it made it really hard to rest.
The most memorable part of our stay (for the wrong reasons) was when someone set off bear spray in the hallway. The front desk called around 8 a.m. to let us know there were fumes in the hall, which I do appreciate, but we were already struggling to sleep in because of the noise, and the call just sealed it. They didn’t offer any solution or way to make the situation better.
On the positive side, the staff were friendly, and the hotel offers complimentary laundry — a nice perk, though it closes at 8 p.m., which is tough when you’re out exploring all day. Parking was easy with plenty of space. The water pressure and temperature in the shower were good. The location, however, was farther from town than we expected and not really walkable.
Overall, the noise and the bear spray incident (even though it was a one‑off) really defined our stay, and because nothing was done to improve the experience afterward, we wouldn’t stay here again."
