"Desk clerk knew that I was a gold member at Expedia, welcomed me to Wildwood, & remembered my name the next morning -- gracious & helpful & proud of where she worked. The Lodge has a great ambience & us family-friendly. Breakfast was very good. When I asked for a possible free upgrade, we got a suite! "

"Shower could only be used by two people because the drain was so clogged. Also, when we checked in we were told our room would only be cleaned mid-stay upon request… standard nowadays. Well when we requested beds and towels later, we were told it wouldn’t happen. Seems to be some miscommunication between staff. The weekend brunch buffet is overpriced for what they provide but the room service is good. Chose this place because it is the only hotel with a hot tub, seats about 6. It was a decent stay, almost worth the price but could use some touches to make it better and more worth the money."
