"Very clean property. I liked the little bar, and it was a wonderful atmosphere to unwind in. The whole place was amazing. This is a must stay place!! I am not a robot, promise."
"The room was beautiful inside. Bed was extra comfy. Location is excellent for a romantic setting. We had Sunday brunch at the kitchen. Excellent service and gourmet food. The sea otters gave us quite a show from our window as we ate. A staff member gave us binoculars to see their cute little faces. Our other experiences included the hot tub spa lounge, which also gave amazing views of the bay."
"I don’t usually stay at motels, but this ended up being a solid last minute option for one night. The price was reasonable, check-in was quick, and the room was clean when we arrived. The property itself was well maintained and felt taken care of.
The bed was a little lumpy, and the pillows weren’t the most comfortable, but it was fine for a short stay. The bathroom had a stand-up shower only, although it was surprisingly spacious. There isn’t an elevator, so if you’re on the second floor you’ll have to carry your luggage, but it wasn’t too much of an inconvenience.
One thing to note is they don’t provide toiletries, so be sure to pack your own. Overall, it was a good value for a quick overnight stay, and I’d consider staying here again if I needed an affordable place in the area."
"My husband and I stayed at the Stargazer this past July. I looked at many hotels in the same price range, however, none had an INDOOR pool AND jacuzzi as well as FREE parking. The rooms are modest but understand that this hotel has been reimagined from one built in a bygone era. It is clean, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the area is within walking distance to downtown. Up the hill is a Whole Foods and a movie theater, if you’re so inclined. Our room even had a lovely little fridge with a pretty decent size freezer. Come on! You can’t beat this place!!"
"Great location, but not the best looking. Too much rust stains on the balcony. The standard suit has a horrible view of vent tubes. Location is great though with easy access to the beach, hot tub and pool. Staff are always very nice and attentive to the guests needs. This place is a good value between price and location. I recommend it for families."
