10/10 Excellent

"The hotel was great for a one night stay! The staff was very friendly and helpful. One staff member went out of her way to make my daughter a special cold brew drink. The hotel is in a great location in Solvang with easy parking underground. The only bummer was the lounge being closed- we were really looking forward to that. But we had fun at the pool and would totally stay here again."

"The property is well maintained the staff were helpful and friendly check in was fast even though there was only one person working. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, it was everything we needed for an overnight stay. If you're looking for frills and extra amenities this may not be the place for you,but if you want somewhere safe, clean, comfortable and SO close to the beach! this is it!"

"The historic part which is where we stayed was very quaint but for today’s needs there are no usb type connections for devices and the older wiring was a bit dicey to use cables for power to our phones. We should have had the plug in adapter and it’s a fair chance it was my charger that wasn’t charging but I think the older wiring may have contributed. It’s a historic building ! What do you expect ? The room was in the smaller side but again historical building is not what we are used to. Just the same it was a lovely place to stay and convenient for location in terms of getting to the sites. Only down side is no parking but you can unload and go to the public parking lot and uber. Otherwise it’s 1 hour parking 9-6."

"We booked a night here last minute to start our trip a day sooner and couldn’t get into our original hotel. I did enjoy it was close to outlets since we planned on doing shopping, parking was free, we could pay $15 to check in at 2 and it was a very spacious room with typical amenities including a sink in the little kitchen area. Our only complaint was the people above us playing loud music at midnight for an hour and little kids yelling at each other and sometimes crying until 3 am. I did text the number back (twice) from initial check in about the noise and finally had to call the front desk at 3. Also, when we first arrived we tried to get ice at the vending machine in our building and it wasn’t working but I’m sure that has more to do with people filling up ice chests."
