I arrived to the property at 12:30. I did call ahead of time after my flight was delayed from Charlotte advising of my approximate time of arrival; there was no concern raised.
Upon arrival, I took note that we were waiting very long while the front desk kept running back and forth from the desk to room as he check on something.
He seemed very nervous as he made text by phone awaiting a response. This caused an accumulation of customers behind us in line, not yet attended to.
Then I was told the king size suite I had already paid for, booked for 4 was not available, inclusive there were no other suites available in the hotel.
The only option was to just take the last king size bed. Even a request for two queen, I was told is. It available.
This only resorted in 4 adults to one bed after a long flight. I asked giving the circumstances as he has ran to check the room about sufficient linen and was told the room was stocked. There were not enough.
I agree with management who finally responded to the text and returned the call that I deserve a refund.
All justifications and explanations for such an impression cannot compensate for how exhausted bodies just needing to sleep had to be cramped in one bed.
Expedia, the hotel ask that you reach out and they will approve this refund.
