Comfort Inn & Suites Tavares North

"The staff was great, the breakfast was pretty good, one day they had an omelet and that was yummy as well as biscuits and gravy along with many other options. The lady working the breakfast area was very efficient, friendly and kept it well stocked and clean. Our room had a musky smell, I didn't say anything about it, bc I thought after running the air some it would go away but it didn't. I should of said something and changed rooms, I did tell them when I left, she said she would check into it and appreciated me telling her. My main reason for the 4 was bc of the room smell and the pool. The pool had a lot of bugs in it and was dirty on the bottom. They said it does have a filtration system eventhough I couldn't see it. I know that the area was apparently having a problem with those bugs during that time, but I was afraid to swim in it which was pretty disappointing. Not a terrible experience and I would go back, I would just check the pool first and ask for a different room if it had a smell. Oh and they had a church service on Sunday that was fantastic!"

"Had a nice stay. Beautiful property and we just wanted to relax and enjoy the pool for the weekend. Didn't end up eating on property (I have eaten there before and their food is excellent - Sunday Brunch is great for a special occasion!) as the website indicated a dress code for the restaurant and my husband didn't bring dress pants or dress shorts, though we had pretty nice resort wear, we didn't want to be turned away. We found a few great casual places to eat nearby... the Italian one (Bella Nona) was awesome... though I'd highly recommend eating at one of the Missions beautiful restaurants... just bring a set of nice clothes for the fancy one... you'll be glad you did. Only disappointment was that the website didn't give hours for pool and when I searched online it seemed to indicate it closed early and opened late so we missed using it in the early evening. Only later did I realize that the hours were wrong and from another "resortpass" site they belong to. The pool WAS open sun up to sun down. I spent quite a bit of time on their website trying to find this information and failed. My fault, however I think their website could use revamping or, at least, a search bar. Anyway... I could have called the front desk. Their golf course is beautiful and our room overlooked the course with a screened in, private, balcony. This would be great if you brought a pet, as you could make them comfortable out there. Overall, I highly recommend the Mission Resort!!"
