"Jacob at the Char restaurant off the lobby was fantastic! He re-opened the kitchen for my wife and I to get meal after long day of travel. The staff in the kitchen were very gracious to stay longer and prepare our meal. The front desk staff was great also. Wausau received 6inches of snow over night and they had the parking lot cleared in the morning. "

"Clean room, nice staff. Wish there was potatoes or meat option for breakfast but plenty of fruits and bread. Eggs and gravy biscuit is a good alternative. Good workout area."

"The Stewart Inn was an outstanding place to stay. Randy, the owner of the inn, did an exceptional job hosting our stay here. He warmly greeted us at the door, and he graciously gave us an upgrade to our room at the beginning of our stay. The whole inn is beautifully decorated and furnished as it might have been during the early 1900's. All-in-all, it is a very comfortable and quiet place to stay and relax. In addition, it is in walking distance to some fine dining restaurants and tourist attractions. This is a great place to stay at if you plan on spending some time in the Wausau area. "
