I gave 4 stars despite what I have experienced and encounter with this place. The staff are hardworking and most of them are always smiling and cheerful. The only reason i chose the place 3x is because of that and its accessibility to go anywhere. It is not a fancy place. It is a motel transformed into transient rooms so, i didn't expect too much. I would say they are way nicer than most of the inns around, Affordable and accessible. I hope next time, they will endorse responsibility to the next shift better so, customers don’t suffer and fix their rooms to avoid damages that they might not even afford to pay.’ All in all, I still recommend Astrotel as a very accessible place to stay. Lives in the heart of Guadalupe market, massage 24 hours, convenience stores and pharmacies all walking distance. Eatery and if you like karaoke, they have plenty of 24 hours open too.
It is an Hour Hotel, I don’t mind, but they have to tell before that it is not a Holiday Hotel. We don’t want to stay there and they promise to After to a refund. On the end they did not follow their promis. And they charged us Even we did not stayd there. Very bad.
The smell at my level , floor 2 was noxious ! Very bad smell of ammonia ! I have no idea where it was coming from . otherwise everything else was ok , except for the bathroom smells .

Very limited on dining areas also the elevator broke down almost daily
Cheap Hotel in an emergency, Towels smelled terrible and no duvet/top sheet - had to pay extra for a thin sheet for duvet.
The area was not tourist friendly we felt.

A hip modern style budget hotel. Needing to be close to the bus station, it was convenient, but Colon and Carbon are kind of a rough part of Cebu. Big bed, good smart TV, good air conditioning, and good WiFi.
I would suggest normal bed pillows instead of the strange foam ones. Also there was no shampoo offered.
I had an incredibly disappointing stay at Astrotel Cebu. Unfortunately, I discovered bed bugs in two different rooms, which was not only disturbing but also concerning for my health. Additionally, the shower had a serious drainage issue.
After reporting these issues, I was assured by the Hotel that I would receive a refund from Hotels.com/Expedia. However, it’s been a long time, and despite multiple inquiries from Hotels.com/Expedia, Astrotel Cebu has completely ignored all attempts to resolve the matter.
This complete lack of response is beyond frustrating. I strongly advise others to avoid this hotel.
