Absolutely NOT what the are showing on photos.
Don t be fouled by the photos. They are from the opening... This resort has not been refreshed since the last ouragan, so everything is old and falling apart. Some walking areas are even dangerous with rusty steel and nails ready to hook you. The table is 1000 light year from what they show on the pictures! Only good point is the staff. But all Cuban staff is generally super nice. Also, good location for kite with small waves and shallow water. At this stage, this resort is a 2 stars.

First trip to Cuba
Nice place for the price point. Some complaints about the food from others but we thought it was good. Nice, friendly staff. Groundskeeper brought us freshly prepared coconuts to enjoy. Needs some upkeep in places but the pool, dining area and bars were all in good shape. There are certainly newer, fancier places nearby but we enjoyed Sol. Next door to the Coco dive centre if you want to check out Cuban scuba diving. Great beach area. Some terrific musical performers.

I liked the beach infinite in view, clean water, free water bikes and catamarans. Nice friendly staff, especially Sunwing representatives. Beautiful espresso, pina-colada in the lobby-bar! My dislike were - games, other organised activities. Ping-pong table is half broken, no see volleyball on the beach. No bank branch in the hotel, food placed in the restaurant seems from yesterday (not fresh). Trails between homes can have better pavement.

Pésimo todo. El estado del hotel, escasez de comida y bebida. Hubo corte de agua por un desperfecto técnico y no tenía ningún plan de contingencia. Pretendían q aguantáramos sin bañarnos y sin agua en el baño. Desastroso

Muy decepcionante
Muy decepcionante. Somos una pareja y nos asignaron una habitación de 3 camas pequeñas, al intentar cambiarla nos indicaron que el hotel estaba lleno y después vimos que había máximo 40 personas.. de lleno, nada. Al llegar a la habitación, estaba a 17º y el aire puesto, estuvimos buscando el mando y no estaba. Fuimos a pedirlo y tras 2 viajes a recepción y varias horas, lo conseguimos. También un constipado que nos duró el resto del viaje. Tras esto, de nuevo lo mismo con el mando de la tv, agotador. El bufete muy muy lamentable, el aire acondicionado no funciona, moscas por todas partes y en cuanto a la comida, poca variedad, está pasada y bastante mala. La playa es bonita, pero nadie cuida de las hamacas y las encuentras tiradas por cualquier lugar.

Hyper déçu étant donné son prix. Hôtel pas très propre ( cafards sur les murs au self). Prise qui sort du mur dans la salle de bain, une seule prise pour charger. Inutile de prendre la vue sur la mer (on ne la voit pas de la terrasse) Je ne recommande absolument pas.

Schlechtes essen und service. Teller beim buffet immer dreckig. Geht gar nicht. Strand ist mega schön aber das wars dann auch schon. Wer zum kiten surfen dahin geht sollte sich besser andere hotels anschauen und einfach storage in der kite schule buchen.
