Mahogany Bay Resort & Beach Club, Curio Collection by Hilton
6/10 Okay
"OK, so when arrived they did greet us with a drink. We received our room. The room which is the upkeep room. It really didn’t make sense. They had a sink and a table there no microwave with they did have a college dorm refrigerator when it rains the bathroom it does smell like sewage and that’s all water supplies the local restaurants on site. They were a 3 1/2 to a four out of five. The martini bar the young lady in there. I don’t know if this was her first time there, but she did seem frightened. She was not like talkative like a bartender should be so I don’t know what’s up with that. The property does not a great Internet connection. It rained like 50% of our trip so we are like let’s watch TV. The TV was not working and our room. Nor does the property have like a media or Internet/center just in case say you lose your documents, you need to use the Internet and all that they have nothing. For this property I would give it a three out of five stars. The boat ride to the beach private beach club the guys there were phenomenal. But at the beach club they did not have enough tiles. They said they were waiting for the resort so all in all I gave it a three out of five."
"Beautiful complex. In the middle of town yet feels secluded. The place was designed to make you feel like in a tropical jungle. It is 5 degrees cooler than across the street from it!"
"Coco Beach Resort provides a FULL-SERVICE vacation experience. The concierge started communicating with us a few weeks prior to our arrival to ensure our questions were answered as well as aided in booking two fantastic excursions.
We were met at the Belize City airport by a representative from the resort to help guide us to our connecting flight to Ambergris Caye. From that point on the Coco Beach made sure we were completely taken care of.
From check-in to check-out the staff was friendly and helpful. The facilities were fantastic and extremely well maintained. We ate several meals at the resort and enjoyed all of our meals.
We spent a lot of time exploring while on Ambergris Caye, and from what we could tell, we made the best choice for our accommodations."
