"The Hotel is in a beautiful setting overlooking the bay,I would highly recommend a stay at Hotel Croatia absolutely amazing."

"We loved the place. Was difficult to find as the alpha is up the hill and some stairs. Dont recommended if you're having mobility issues. The host lives on site available for check in he prefers a call ahead of arrival time. Building has pretty rooftop for hanging out and nice for sunset views. We were delayed one day and they were able to accommodate us another night and arranged airport shuttle for us. Recommend the windows to be kept shut as the mosquitoes will get in and ykeep you up all night. Stay here and water taxi/tour to Dubrovnik old town is a good option if your planning a trip."

"Hotel Cavtat was in an excellent sea front position near to bars and restaurant, but qiet and relaxing. We were upgraded from apartial sea view to a full sea view. The room was spotless and smelt brand new. The only criticism was that there was no socket for the kettle and we had to unplug the fridge. Continental breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. I didn't try the cooked breakfast. Beds were comfortable and air con worked well. The pool was lovely but the sunbed area a bit cramped and no plants around. I would definitely recommend the hotel"

"Easy check in, nice room. We were only there for the night but the owner was very kind and the room was nice. Would recommend if you need to be near the Dubrovnik airport!"

"Loved the beautiful sea view from the room. Quiet and peaceful. Nice neighborhood and quaint town. Only issue was Expedia made it difficult to get a hold of the owner when checking in. We were a bit confused but eventually Peter showed up to let us in. Great from there on out. "

"The property is amazing everything was immaculate and spotlessly clean.Stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment had spectacular views of the town and Dubrovnik in the distance.The pool area was a little oasis with a fantastic clean pool and well kept gardens a wonderful seating area under a large wooden gazebo to sit for a little shade. Now about the owner Pero what a true gentleman always on hand to see if you needed anything which we didn't as everything was supplied down to dishwasher washing machine iron and ironing board.Pero and his lovely little boy also took us all back to the airport on our departure Really didn't want to write a fantastic review as would like this little gem to be kept a secret but i would be really just being selfish. Deserves a 5 star.So 10/10 for Villa Alegria and thank you for a wonderful stay."
