Delta Hotels by Marriott Colchester
Hotel was nice and modern, good amenities, plenty of parking and bedroom was spacious and good bathroom. The gym was ok but very dirty, it looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in a while. I went in both days of my stay and I don’t think the floors were cleaned once.

The hotel was lovely, as were the staff. My concern is the parking, it’s not free even for guests. It is also very confusing, having arrived late and being unaware of the parking charges I am waiting to hear from the parking vendor about the late parking charges. Lackford Lakes Barns
Lovely accommodation, spacious, warm and very comfortable. Beds were also very comfortable. My only negative comment is about the road condition from the main road down to the cottages - lots of large potholes with parts of the road in very poor condition.
