Hotel is well situated in a quiet area with lots of dining options. It’s also an easy walk to all the historic areas. We also used the hotel gym several times and we thought it was very decent. I would definitely recommend this hotel to people traveling in catania.

The staff at this hotel were excellent, however, the rooms desperately need to be renovated. Threadbare carpet, wallpaper is peeling off the walls, etc. It looks like it hasn't been renovated in 20 years, no joke.

The hotel is as it is advertised: a clean and functional hotel. It has a wonderful 1980s time warp aesthetic, which appealed to me, and all rooms have a large balcony. Staff were helpful and very friendly. I stayed for a week and regret not paying extra for a hotel in the historic centre. It is a good 30 mins walk uphill from the city centre to the hotel in oppressive 40 degrees heat (in September!), which was a struggle at times. Though, the hotel has a parking garage for motorists. The location isn't particular special, either. Just grey apartment buildings, but quiet and likely safe. Though, few restaurant options and the hotel is B&B only.
