"The staff was very helpful in getting us moved to a cabin so that we were on 1 floor for sleeping and the bathroom. The views from the property are beautiful. The room was nicely cleaned and Velvet in housekeeping was excellent!"

"What a great little find. This was my stopping point from Denali to Seward. The tourist were gone for the season. The room was super clean and bed was comfortable. Free Coffee in the lobby. The staff was very friendly. They bar was welcoming with a bingo night. I walked to the Fairview and had dinner and drinks. This is lively town."

"Fairview Inn in Talkeetna is a delightful small older (1923) hotel. The room and shared bathrooms were immaculate. The bed was comfy. Heat adequate for the room. Rooms are second floor w steep old time steps, no elevator available. Parking is adequate. A nice touch is that disposable earplugs are provided as the second floor is over the bar and restaurant which appears to be a town gathering spot. They were unnecessary as it was nicely quiet in our room. Staff was friendly and helpful. We ate supper there which was delicious altho pricey for the amount of food. We stayed at the end of the tourist season, a plus and minus. Talkeetna is a tiny town so not a lot of options."

"This place is probably your best bet for staying in telkeetna…a town with a lot of variety in accommodations. I’ve stayed in quite a few over 40 years and am so happy to find this place. Perfect ambiance of a small inn with incredible atmosphere. Quiet, slightly out of town, with plenty of views and lots of indoor space to hang out if the weather is funky…"
