"Came to Nelson for the night , looking for a hotel came in to the best western. Staff said they could do a room for Canadian. Still a lot of money for a solo traveler . Went for a walk in town looked at my hotels.com app . Found a room at best western for taxes in .Went back to reception and booked for a night . Thought it was a good deal . Until I checked on my banking and saw that $ was in USA currency. Worked out to $ can . Feel completely ripped off as the site didn’t say USA FUNDS . Not impressed. Learn from mistakes. Will probably delete app as I feel I got . Probably my fault. Hotel wasn’t able to correct it as well . Still $ lots for a shoe box for a room and a view of a brick wall . Staff was friendly though."
