"While the Hotel Earl is a clean, modern, and perfectly located gem near downtown Charlevoix, my off-season stay was a mixed bag due to winter conditions and maintenance hurdles. The room was immaculate and the front desk staff was incredibly polite and accommodating, but the experience was dampened by an unplowed parking lot and the loss of major amenities, including a closed pool and hot tub due to a leak and an unattended lobby bar. Because I booked through a third-party vendor, no compensation could be offered for these missing features—and I even ended up paying for my full two-day reservation despite checking out a day early—but as I wasn't there on vacation, it was a manageable trade-off. I would certainly return during the peak season to experience the hotel at its full potential, especially to enjoy the rooftop bar overlooking the lake."

"Our cabin was comfortable and cozy. Very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the time we spent at the small sandy beach 150 feet from the cabin. Mark was always available to give us advice on what to see and where to eat in the area. This will be our first choice for rentals when we return."
