Would stay again in a second. The city is very walkable and Martina and Paolo were incredibly helpful with restaurants and sights. We did not want to leave."

"I chose the Excelsior for its proximity to the train station, as I was arriving and leaving by train and also did an excursion by train to the Certosa nearby (which I highly recommend). It also was close enough to all of the other sights to be walkable. The room was spotlessly clean. Also, the city map provided by the hotel was excellent! Tourist maps often do not label all streets, or use printing so small that they are not user-friendly, but this one was great."
