"This accommodation is a great base to explore Chianti, this huge farm house surrounded by olive groves sits atop a small mountain and oozes history back to the medieval times and beyond. Our family of 6 were comfortable in the 5 bedroom house. All services are sufficient but it's very old which is what we loved about Montefolchi. There is no air con but a huge fire place and we had some unwelcome mosquitoes which host Simone said he'd take care of. This was our oasis to marvel at the sunsets...

"My family and I spent 5 days at this lovely place. Casole D’Elsa is a short walk up the hill and a great place to enjoy a meal. The restaurant on site is a gem with terrific food. Our kids enjoyed the pool and the location allowed for easy drives to a variety of Tuscan towns on the tourist map. We enjoyed our stay!"

"Värdinnan på frukosten var mkt trevlig. Vinprovning på slottet är ett måste. Fin utsikt ! Trevligt att man kunde sitta ute i trädgården. Det enda vi saknade var färskt bröd."

We loved our stay at Locanda, although i must say that dinner is very expensive with dishes that we didn't like. So we chose even not continue to the breakfast. Other than this, i reccomand you this hotel as a must stop for 1 night in the area!! Free parking is just outside, and you really near to san giminiano and the rest of the borgos around..."
