Top Cashel Cathedral Hotel Reviews
Anner Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed our stay Our room had air con, which was welcome in the current heatwave Staff were great & breakfast was worthwhile to set set us up for a long day"
Baileys Hotel Cashel
10/10 Excellent
"Stay here! Great room and good location"
Hotel Kilkenny
10/10 Excellent
"Great hotel! Beautiful spacious rooms. It's a 15 minute walk to the town centre but that was fine for us. If you're not able/wanting to walk that far every day and back, I would look at staying somewhere more central. Otherwise this hotel was excellent and very friendly staff. I would recommend that for the room with the terrace, it would have been nice to have a couple of chairs and a side table to be able to enjoy the terrace. That would be my only recommendation. Staff were friendly and helpful."
Hayes Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We are so grateful for our unexpected stay at The Hayes Hotel! After accessibility issues at our original Cork hotel, a last-minute search led us here. Finding comfortable space for four adults in Europe can be tough, but this setup in charming Thurles was perfect. We checked in around 8:40 PM, starving after traveling all day. Though the kitchen closed at 9:00 PM, the staff at Cusack’s Bar were wonderfully accommodating, letting us take our meals upstairs for a cozy end to the night. The suite arrangement (Rooms 101 & 102) was fantastic. Room 101 had a comfortable fold-out bed and led to a spacious bathroom and generous closet space. An inner door opened to Room 102, a gorgeous bedroom with a king bed—offering the ideal mix of space and privacy. The room was well-equipped with outlets and USB ports. (Tip: bring a small portable fan if you prefer sleeping cool!) Breakfast at Cusack’s was included and served from 8:00 to 10:30 AM. We opted for the pancakes and French toast; both were delicious, and the coffee was outstanding. Above all, the entire staff was exceptionally kind, engaging, and welcoming. Thank you for turning a potential lodging nightmare into such a wonderful experience. We’ll enthusiastically recommend The Hayes Hotel to everyone and cannot wait to return!"
Horse and Jockey Hotel
8/10 Good
"The room had everything you could need including a clothes steamer. The only thing I wasn't keen on was having to queue for a table for my evening meal."
Noan Country House B and B
10/10 Excellent
"Our Noan Country House stay provided us with the perfect place to reset after our first ten days in Ireland. The property is gorgeous, quiet, and the hosts are welcoming, kind and helpful. And, Jean's breakfasts are amazing. The house is close to many interesting adventures. Since we were there on a Thursday, Jean recommended that we go to a local pub for a special music evening and we had an extraordinary experience. We will retun when we come back to Ireland!"
Talbot Hotel Clonmel
10/10 Excellent
"The staff let me check in slightly early on arrival which was welcomed. The room was comfortable and well appointed, including having the ability to screen cast to the TV from chrome devices - great for playing music. Due to the heat-wave at the time of my stay the room was the warm side, a function of the large picture window giving great views of the hills to the south of the town. On the plus side cold water was readily available from the filtered water dispenser by the lift, and a large rainfall shower also provided cooling when required. The breakfast buffet has an ample selection of hot and cold food whilst the lunchtime carvery served in the bar also leaves you feeling full for the rest of the day. If you are at a loss there is a Supervalu supermarket next door and other food options within the adjacent retail park."
Ach na Sheen Guest House
8/10 Good
"Place had everything to welcome us in. Tea, coffee, biscuits, water, etc. Soft towels, good bed, excellent breakfast. I’d give it 5 stars but don’t want to raise expectations too much. For the price point, it’s excellent value. Better than most B&Bs in its class. Bathroom and TV were functional but small. If size of either is a big deal to you, be advised."
Hotel Minella
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great stay as usual at the Minella. Always has a home from home feel . Beautiful place, stunning location. We will definitely be back again . Thank you to everyone at The Minella Hotel Clonmel . 5 Stars ."
