"The Lightwell is a charming hotel in a great location. The rooms and property and super clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. All staff we interacted with were welcoming and helpful. I was with a friend and we each reserved one of the "tiny" rooms - very cozy, definitely best-suited for one person. We did not try the restaurant or cafe, but both the spa and rooftop patio were nice areas to relax in. Tons of shops and restaurants in the immediate area."

"The grounds and views are gorgeous and peaceful. You can sit outside on the back deck and look out at the Columbia Gorge. The staff are very helpful, and the food is delicious. The rooms are full of thoughtful amenities, like plenty of outlets and soft lighting in the bathroom. The beds are very comfortable. There are works of art throughout the lodge. There are lots of activities for children and adults."
