The room was clean and the staff was outstanding. The breakfast was very good by traditional standards for that area. The location was not the best and taxi drivers had a hard time trying to locate "New Art's Down Town hotel because there is no "New Arts" displayed anywhere, and none knew the location by that name. If you are a Westerner, it may not meet your expectations. Small elevators, steps going into the lobby that you need to carry baggage up, no vending machines, etc.

Excellent. Beautiful Room.

Fantastic place to stay. Staff very courteous. Even when I couldn’t find the towels that were there but I couldn’t see. Sorry! 30 minute flat walk to the Mosque.

- The breakfast is not included in the room charge. We did not try the breakfast due to the cost. - While parking is included it is challenging and confusing. - The hotel smells great! Thank you. - The one elevator is small and unreliable. - The area around the hotel is extremely busy and very noisy. The view from our luxury suite was great, and we enjoyed watching all the celebrations after Morocco won the Arab Cup in Soccer. Go Morocco Go!!! - The hotel location is great for walking to various restaurants, shops and markets. Mohammed Amin front desk staff was great and very personable. Our recommendation is to include breakfast in the luxury rooms, fix the parking and elevator situation. Otherwise great place to stay. Thank you Mohammed Amin for making our stay pleasant.

Great centrally located hotel in the heart of shops and restaurants within Casablanca. Approximately 40 minute walk to see the big mosque along the Atlantic and also ~40 min walk to either Casa Port or Casa Voyageurs train stations.

What an excellent hotel. The room was huge, think one-bedroom apartment. Extremely friendly and helpful reception staff. Would recommend to anyone, best hotel I've stayed in during my 3-week trip to 4 countries.

affordable luxury!

After staying at a riad in Marrakesh, we spent a night in Casablanca at this hotel... what a difference! it was like stepping out of the past into modern luxury, an unbelievably spacious, well appointed suite with a full kitchenette. Super friendly and helpful staff. only quibble was that while there's a nespresso in the room (yay!), you get exactly one capsule, even though we were two, and another capsule costs 2.5 euros (boo!)!

We arrived late (11:45 PM) but called ahead to let the staff know about our delayed arrival. We were greeted with kindness, and the hotel and room were very nice. We had a full kitchen, a living room with balcony and a large bedroom/bed. The area is walkable and felt very safe. Highly recommend, especially for the price!

We were looking for a good hotel with spacious rooms and close to the city centre. This is exactly what Down Town hotel provided. We were two single adults and one slept in a very comfortable double bed and one on the sofa bed - both of which were very comfortable. There was a telly in the bedroom and kitchen living area which was sometimes useful. Would go again. Breakfast was extra at 10 Dirhams per person and was a mixture of hot and cold local dishes/produce to set us up for a day of exploring Casablanca. It would have been good if there had been some tourist information available at reception but we weren't short of places to explore.

We had a short two night stay. Overall it was a comfortable stay. Pros: Great location with lots of food, spas and shopping options Great breakfast buffet with many options Clean rooms Comfortable bed Cons: Aside from queen bed for two, additional people only have option to sleep on the couches. Seperate toilet room and a shower room. ( which might work for some) Both shower room and toilet rooms are extremely small and you will keep bumping into doors and walls No fan or AC control in the room. There was no air in the room.
