"False advertising claiming that parking was included but it was actually 25$ a night. They had zero options for breakfast that was vegan so we couldn’t even take advantage of the continental breakfast. Carpets were all ripping up throughout hotel and there was caution tape around the border above the pool because the railing was all broken. I would never stay here again and I wish I could get my money and time back. The front desk staff were completely unhelpful and rude every time we interacted with them. The only nice staff there were the housekeepers who were so kind."

"I’ve stayed in hotels across the US and internationally from unique gems to large chains so I tend to walk into a Hampton Inn with pretty clear expectations, clean, reliable, and a solid breakfast to start the day. Unfortunately, this particular Hampton Inn near the market areas someone are inconveniences that impacted the overall stay. Location why is the hotel sits right at the end of the freeway exit which might inconvenient on paper in reality it’s anything but making a right turn into the property feels unnecessarily dangerous to the traffic flow of visibility to add to that the hotel is located next to a strip club called Expose, which may not be ideal depending on the type of state you’re planning special for families of those expecting a more relaxed, family, friendly environment near Seaworld. Went inside things didn’t improve much the room initially look modern enough, and the bed appeared new, but looks to be deceiving the mattress feel thin and unsupportive almost like sleeping on a pullout couch cushion, and every small movement came with the squeak for a brand that usually delivers on comfort this was a letdown, especially for travelers who rely on a good nights rest. The bathroom design introduced another unexpected frustration. The lighting is set on a motion sensor, which might sound energy efficient, but in practice it’s for the implemented while soaking in the bath tub. "Eric experience with the Kings Inn was very positive. The room was spacious, very clean, plenty of towels. The cute retro refrigerator was nice, and the bed was comfortable. Guests received a 10% discount at the two different restaurants, and the pool and hot tub were very nice. The location was great, very close to the airport and San Diego sights, and there’s a cute little town just up the hill with lots of restaurants and bars. One thing my wife, especially liked was that the bathroom lighting was excellent, as by comparison, some hotels have poor lighting in the bathroom in order to put on makeup, etc. Parking was plentiful, but was $15 a day. That seemed a little high. This is an excellent tourist hotel, great for kids, and affordable. Overall, a great experience. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The room was clean and up to date, the staff was great, but I was disappointed with the breakfast. I stayed at a Hilton property in Flagstaff in April and they had more options and better labeling for people with food allergies. Milk/dairy is a common allergy as is gluten. I had to ask for an alternate milk so I could have cereal. It wasn't something that was available for all guests."
