"I have used Expedia for years and this is my worst experience. I paid online for two rooms. When I tried to check in the hotel staff said I only had one room. When I contacted Expedia I was told that I did not click on the link to pay the taxes on the second room and would need to pay an additional $340 for the taxes and fees on the second room. When I protested the agent told me to calm down that he was going to reduce the amount to $300 as long as I purchased a $300 voucher. It took me over an hour to get the second room only after I had to click on a link approving the additional charge to my credit card. The voucher is from something called CLICK TO FLY. I intend to report this to the NC State Attorney General's Office. This is a SCAM and I will not be using EXPEDIA again! Regarding the hotel, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in need of an upgrade. Our tub was painted and there were rust spots under the paint. The door to the second room was stuck and maintenance had to come with a sledge hammer to give us access to the room."

"This hotel was not great! The inside of hallways smelled like pot, our shower was not great .. the part you pull to go to shower from tub was loose from wall, shower literally trickled until I got fed up and was ready to get out then it only got a little better and made me angry .. the bed was good but the pillows were so small and squared that I had to use all ones on the bed! A cute balcony off room but no chairs.. place seems dated.. elevator looks beaten up.. just glad it was only one night"
