The location is perfect if you want to be close to all the great restaurants, shops, and street food in the walled city. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly; the should pay close attention to guest needs and request. The language barrier created some gaps in our expectations being met. Finally the hot tub isn’t hot; it is a whirl pool, it is just not hot.

I had a wonderful 7-day stay at this hotel! The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable throughout our visit. Both the hotel and the room had a beautiful aesthetic that made the stay feel extra special. Despite really friendly and attentive staff, a solid breakfast every day, perfect location, and a lovely boutique hotel feel, I just can’t recommend this one. There is a bar across the street with a rooftop dance party that starts in the afternoon and goes on until late in the night every night. The music (like it is at many bars in Cartagena) insanely loud! Every room in the hotel is effectively at that party. There’s really nothing they can do about it so it’s not their fault. It’s just unfortunate. Earplugs are your friend. Second, there was no hot water in my room - and II was there for 6 nights. There was sometimes only a trickle of the cold water coming out of my shower anyway. But despite asking every day and being told it was fixed every day I never got a proper shower. Obviously at this price point you should be able to expect a mostly quiet room and hot water for a shower.
