"We chose this hotel as it was a bit outside of the main centers of Syracuse and Ortigia. However, we were disappointed that they did not allow us to check in early, even though it was only about an hour to check-in time. "Cheap hotel for the location, walkable to both old Syracuse & Ortigia. Area is safe despite the grittiness. Hotel itself needs many upgrades! It does give a voucher to a wonderful cafe with great pastry & coffee options."
