The accommodations were very nice and the king room was so cozy. The bed slept great and had everything we needed. "Beautiful rural setting, new owners and the bar and dining rooms fully renovated in the last few months. Bedroom was a good size and the bed very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and pleasant and the food we had (dinner and breakfast) were excellent."

"What a terrific spot! The bar was comfy, and cosy; the room clean, and tastefully decorated with a comfy bed, and wonderful view of the viaduct and Whernside. And, the fish & chips - exceptional! For us, the staff made our stay, Will, Courtney, Angela, & Val, couldn't do enough for us, despite a very busy bank holiday weekend. Thank you, we had a great evening and a cracking breakfast to boot."

"Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice room with ensuite. Plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits available. Great choice at breakfast, including those, like me, who only want a continental breakfast. We dined in the attached restaurant both nights and the food, and service, was very good. We arrived by bicycle and safe storage was provided. All in all great value for money and highly recommended."
