"The resort definitely needs some TLC, since it's been up for sale needed updates and repairs are just not happening. Having said that the place is comfortable and clean and the staff are fantastic. We were a bit disappointed that the restaurant is now only open on Friday and Saturday nights but understandable considering how quiet the place is through the week. "We visited in the winter; lovely cool weather. It’s obvious someone has a green thumb. I would love to the garden in full bloom. Even in winter the roses were fragrant and lovely. Stuart was a wonderful host, showing us the building, kitchen, our room with en suite. I love that shower!! Breakfast was laid out at 7 am for our leisure and even at 9 am (we had a bit of a lie in) was still warm and fresh. Centrally located for our travels, it was a wonderful stay!!"

So lovely to be met by one of the staff, even though I arrived late it was so good to have somebody there in the office to meet me. Even had a census form for me to fill in. My first visit, will be back again for sure. Next time I’ll try out the restaurant"
