"Experience was average for the over priced hotel, except for the great sunset views from the room, not much to talk about the room or amenities, even the phone wasn’t working in the room"

"The hotel was very cute, very clean and in excellent condition. The pool was inviting and the waiting areas were comfortable. I didn’t realize upon booking this property that it isn’t right downtown Carmel. But that was my fault. "

"This place is so lovely! The staff was great, very helpful and welcoming. It’s centrally located to Carmel by the sea, Monterey and Big Sur. We got a renovated bathroom which was great. The bed was so comfortable. Our room was on the second floor with a balcony which we enjoyed. The little cabins look very nice and well kept. We hope to stay in one next time. Highly recommend this place. "

"It was great!! I didn’t sleep that well on the bed, but that is my own back issue, it’s picky. Aside from that it was wonderful. "

"Window to ocean would not close & seal. Towel had holes. Blanket frayed. Dirty floors. I used a wet towel to mop floor and white towel was brown when I got done! Fireplace would not turn on morning of check out. Checkin keys were taped outside of locked office. Office closed at 4 pm so no access to microwave to heat my food. No hot water to bathroom sink. "
