"Parking was a bit tight but nice to have a carport to park in. Room was a bit dated but it was spacious and comfortable. Black out curtains were a plus, location can’t be beat! Having a Roku tv would be a nice addition. Front area of hotel is darling with vines and landscaping. Overall a pleasant stay!"

"Our stay with our two dogs at Carmel River Inn in one of their cottages was amazing. The cottage was very cozy and beautiful, the property was stunning and a lovely place to walk our dogs and the staff were amazing. Looking forward to going back one day."

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Absolutely Wonderful Honeymoon Experience! There was absolutely nothing not to love about this beautiful property! From the moment we arrived, the staff was amazing, welcoming, and attentive. The complimentary breakfast was incredible and far exceeded our expectations! The grounds and pool area are simply stunning—romantic, peaceful, and the perfect setting to relax and unwind. The beach is just a short, enjoyable downhill walk away, making the location even more special. We also made a little tradition of visiting Bud’s Bar most evenings for a relaxing nightcap, which quickly became one of our favorite parts of the day. Now, you might think that’s the best of it all… but our upgraded room, #408, was truly the icing on the cake! The breathtaking views overlooking the beautiful grounds and the beach were everything we could have hoped for and more. Waking up to that scenery each morning was simply unforgettable. My wife and I were celebrating our honeymoon, and this property provided exactly the romantic, relaxing, and memorable experience we were looking for. We will be back!!!"

"Spectacular cliffside property. Absolutely AMAZING views. The property is incredibly landscaped. Staff are excellent and helpful. for seniors and disabled persons it is a CHALLENGE to walk to property due to Many steps and steep inclines between the main building/lobby/restaurant and rooms and parking. That’s the only complaint. Rooms are very nicely done and the bed was excellent. Also…the One ice machine on property was broken. Would stay again but would ask for a room easier to walk."
