"I cannot understand why this is a four star hotel ! It does not have a proper dining room. Dinner in a dark and dingy bar and breakfast in a cafe. It is not properly licenced either. The bar closes at 9pm. I only found this out when I returned from a gig in Lanark at 10.30 hoping for a beer, only to find it locked up. I will not be going back and I certainly will not recommend it to anyone."

"Such a beautiful apartment, had everything we needed, spacious and warm! The added touch of a Christmas tree and we couldn't finish the job we wanted to do all it's awful Friday. I take because we checked out of the apartment. We stayed in a lovely place. It was in the middle an hour. I was just 3 big houses. Or maybe 4 huw trousers, beautiful woods gates, and then this is so the one look like a 2 garages at the back and the apartment was on top of the garages, it was up the stairs. It was only one battery open plan kitchen living room. It was cute and there was a Christmas tree in there and he was so warm. The student review"

"I stayed in this stunning cabin in the woods for a 3-night work trip and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect escape. The cabin is beautifully designed, cozy, and surrounded by peaceful nature—ideal for unwinding after a busy day. Joanne, the hostess, was phenomenal: warm, welcoming, and attentive, making the whole experience feel effortless and relaxing. Each evening, I took walks through the surrounding area, which was tranquil and scenic—a perfect way to disconnect and recharge. The neighbours, Mr. Darcy and Jimmy, were an unexpected delight and added so much charm to the stay. Their friendly presence made the experience feel even more special. This place is a true gem, whether you’re visiting for work, rest, or a bit of both. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat and will definitely be returning.
