We can not fault our stay at Avlon House, everything was top notch. The property is very well maintained and decorated beautifully. The host was very friendly and obliging. Lots of choice for breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable. Loved our stay and would recommend.

Simply great.
Spotless with excellent facilities and lots of nice touches. From the gardens to the little clocks and all the paintings and antiques tastefully scattered around the house and grounds to the excellent cooking and helpful directions we could not fault the guest house. My family and I visited Carlow for the Arts Festival. We stayed with the Avlon for two nights and had an excellent time. The hotel is very clean and tastefully decorated. the rooms were large and well maintained. The owner was very helpful and the breakfast was more than excellent. There is a terrace at the back with BBQ facilities and a game room. I would gladly recommend this B&B to any traveller.
