This was a very nice motel. The room was updated and clean. It was right on the beach with easy access. We were on the first floor and whoever was in the room above us was very heavy and an early riser! Thankfully they left quickly but the sound of their footsteps was quite loud. Excellent location. Parking at room door. Clean and spacious room, fully equipped. Restaurant in the facility was good with friendly prompt service and lovely terrace to watch sunset over Baie des Chaleurs on a summer evening. Would stay there again.

I didn't realize our room was going to be in a building so far from the main bldg. It was clean and bed was very comfortable, but we were next to a utility room and there was a constant hum during the night. There was a nice green area in front of our bldg and we moved our lawn chairs there to get a better view of the water. Unfortunately, the roadway can be noisy with truck traffic, but we loved the little community.

Relaxing hotel of Carleton-Sur-Mer

Realky nice place to stay if you want to relax in the town of Carleton. While it's directly in the center of the most touristic area, people around seem to remain quiet at night time, which is a good thing. People at the reception are also pretty nice and they even let us stay in the same building for convenience (we booked two rooms but separatedly so we weren't originally staying in the same building). The hotel gives us access directly to the boardwalk beside the sea and also a convenient pool as the sea water is kind of hard to swim in. It's also close to all other restaurants and a drug store as well. However, if you need to go to a grocery store you might have to walk a bit or use your car. Recommended!
