You can easily stay a day just in your room and observe the wildlife. Totally worth it - besides the private pool and the very comfortable swing. The food in the restaurant (breakfast and dinner) was the best we had in Tortuguero and the best we had in hotel restaurants in Costa Rica. I would highly recommend a stay here :)."

"Excellent staff and the property is reminiscent of a resort more so than a hotel/stay. Access to beach is extremely easy, attached to the backside of the property, though the beachfront is not 'developed' or 'set up' so do not expect a resort-like sun-chair set up. Excellent location if you want to be away from the hustle bustle of puerto viejo, but still biking distance to get to all the shops and cafes. Fabiano at the front desk, and Rosita for breakfast service, were both absolute delights and extremely helpful :)"
