Reading some of the reviews I was super nervous. We were in town for softball and wanted to be closer to the venue. We were in room 114 & we had zero complaints. The lady who checked us in Friday Feb 13th was the sweetest lady ever! Our room was clean & Saturday front desk came down to check and see if we needed anything. Yes, it’s an older hotel and dated but it was clean and worth the price we paid. Close to where we were playing, Walmart and plenty of restaurants. We will be back the next time we have a tournament at the fairgrounds!

While the facility is beginning to show its age management does a good job of maintenance. Management is super friendly and helpful with providing clean towels etc. They also helped us get our luggage from the car to our room.

Convenient and affordable for a quick stay

It was a convenient and affordable place to stay for the holidays while visiting family in Du Quoin. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Old motel so definitely looks in need of updates, but that's okay. Clean enough, comfortable enough. All in all, we would stay here again.

The staff was extremely friendly, but the place smelled like cigarette smoke. The entire building could use a deep clean. It was convenient and close to stores and restaurants but definitely needs updated.

The manager of this motel was absolutely the best! We asjed for a change of rooms due to husbands bad back and he was immediately ok with that. He got the room ready as quick as possibly. The request by us came during the biggest attraction was going on in this area, every place was full to capacity and here was a manager more than willing to move assigned rooms around. What a wonderful stay we had. I would recommend staying here to anyone

Booked room for 2 Queen beds but got 2 full. We were on 2nd floor but nothing advised you on their site that there’s no elevator. Staff was very nice and accommodating. We were too tired to try to get a different room.

Straight up it’s got a bed that’s comfy. i’d bring your own sheets or blankets. there was stains on mine. i unfortunately had to sleep with them but the whole hotel kinda stinks like cigarettes and homeless people. we rolled in around 2:30 am and noticed lots of homeless or sketchy people. i’d bring any open valuables in your room. water pressure was pretty good. ac works great. i’d also bring a candle or somthing to make the room smell good.
