"I found it very difficult to arrange the airport shuttle because they would not communicate directly using the hotel.com direct portal to the hotel - all that they would do was send a link to a request form that could only be used to hire a boat for for example. But there is nowhere on the form to pre-arrange a pick up at the marina. I then communicated with hotel.com Messaging and they contacted the front desk for me and told me to call the front desk the day before my arrival to arrange the pick up. So I called from the United States on the day before and they told me to call when I arrived at the port of Naples. This involved having to activate my international cellular for the day and I called them from the airport and they told me to call again when I was about to leave the port on the ferry and I called them at that time and they said they would have the car there upon my arrival . There was no car waiting for me. Upon my arrival. I waited 20 minutes and I ended up having to call the hotel three times to ask where the Shuttle was. I was standing in the hot sun for close to 40 minutes exactly where I was supposed to stand at Pier 21 and finally, I see the van approaching full of passengers. So it all worked out but only after I made a total of five telephone calls and waited unnecessarily an extra 45 minutes at the marina after 24 hours of travel.. outside of that, everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. But they were not helpful in setting up the shuttle."
