The hotel is a taste of real Italy. Located a few miles outside of a small town. The hotel was clean and what we want when we travel. Located on a lake, where the towns people come and enjoy the beach, was just so pleasant. The restaurant at the hotel attracts the local people, and the food was amazing. We were the only English speakers, although the younger members of the hotel staff were eager to assist us at every opportunity. We would love to go back.
A small hotel with a fabulous and very popular lakeside restaurant. Mainly used by Italians but with a handful of international guests. The staff are very friendly and the food possibly the best Italian we’ve ever enjoyed anywhere. We dined lakeside while watching otters and various birds in the lake very close by. We stayed for one night before driving to Civitavecchia to pick up a cruise (about an hour) and we would love to return one day.
I was driving from Florence to Rome and choose this hotel to spend the night due to its beautiful lakeside views in the pictures. It was beautiful but this hotel is clearly an destination hotel for Italians looking for a summer lake vacation. Being late October, I was the only guest at the hotel. The hotel is somewhat complicated / difficult to get to and you are isolated once there. Notwithstanding, the staff was very nice, and they put out a full breakfast buffet for me. I think it is a nice hotel just the wrong hotel for me as an American tourist driving through Italy looking for a place to spend the night.
